The Breast Form Store recommends to request a customized skintone appearance with subtle changes in skintone color across the breast form. This request helps to guarantee the most realistic look for your body, and is achieved by airbrushing the breast form. For the best matching, we recommend ordering the skintone kit to select the right shade for your breast forms. Take two photos of your chest with the swatch attached. One photo should be taken with the flash, and one photo should be taken without the flash. Submit these photos with your order and your customization requests, along with instructions for "subtle skintone change for the most realistic effect".
What you need to know
- Real Breasts should not be used with pocketed bras due to their blending and extremely flexible design. We recommend wearing a non-pocketed bra with strong straps for additional support. Real Breasts can be worn with half-cup and demi-cup bras.
- In order to go braless with Real Breasts, the proper use of adhesives is required. Ensure that you wear a bra for the first 30 minutes to an hour to help secure the forms in place before going braless. Sizes 1 and 2 will have a better chance when worn braless than sizes 3 and 4.
- Real Breasts use a soft silicone similar to our Silver Seal breast forms. This silicone is slightly firmer than our Transform or Gold Seal breast forms, which use Super Soft silicone. This will give you the appearance of a younger, more youthful look.
- The Breast Form Store strongly recommends ordering a skintone kit to ensure the best match for your skin's coloring. You can then return the skintone kit for a credit towards your Real Breasts. Learn more
- The six standard skintones only operate as a guide for the manufacturer. Because every pair of Real Breasts is luxuriously hand-crafted, each breast form may have a slightly different shade of than included in the skintone kit. For the best matching results, we recommend ordering the customization option and requesting a realistic skintone match for your body.
- Every pair of RealBreasts includes the following adhesives: 1 bottle of Secure Silicone Adhesive, 1 bottle of Medical Solvent, 2 Skin Tac Wipes, 2 Skin Prep Wipes, and 2 Remover Wipes.

Skin Tone Sample Kit
To further ensure that your Real Breasts breast forms will best match
your body's skin coloring, a sample kit of Real Breasts skin tones made from
the same material as the interior of the Real Breasts is available
for purchase. The purchase price of the kit will be listed as a credit towards
your Real Breasts purchase.
We strongly suggest you take advantage of this offer if you are unsure of the
color you need, as that computer monitors may not accurately display the range in color
and there are no returns on Real Breasts (see below). Because this
is only a sample kit, it is exempt from our 'returning customer' discount.
Returns and exchanges
As that Real Breasts breast forms are hand-made, luxury breast forms that
are custom made for your body and skintone, these breast forms cannot be returned
or exchanged. As a result of their premium craftmanship,
Real Breasts are very unlikely to experience any form of defect.

Delivery time
All Real Breasts breast forms are custom created for the client at the
time of ordering. Because of this hand made, exceptional quality, please note

Using make-up
Before using cosmetics on Real Breasts, test the forms in a small area to be sure the color does not permanently color the breast forms. While using cosmetics to blend the skin of the breast form is recommended by the manufacturer, be careful to allow for the make-up to completely dry. Some types of cosmetics may rub off on to your clothing and/or may stain. Never use a product that contains silicone to blend your breast forms to your skin, to clean, or to attach your breast form as it may damage the breast form.
Membrane
Real Breasts feature a very soft membrane that differs from the traditional material used to contain the breast form, and therefore may be damaged by rough handling. Use the utmost care when handling Real Breasts in order to prevent damage and ensure a long life of the product.
Realistic quality
The developers of Real Breasts breast forms have endeavored to create a perfect alternative to ordinary breast forms that effectively simulates the experience of having breasts, including having the widest selection of skin tones available in comparison to other mastectomy products. While every effort has been make to obtain this goal, artificial breasts are unable to completely duplicate natural breasts. Skin colors and varying texture of natural breasts makes this almost impossible. For this reason, Real Breasts cannot guarantee this result. Real Breasts do not become a part your body, as they are a prosthetic, however they will visually blend with your body better than traditional breast forms. No breast form or prosthetic will blend 100% with your skin.
Selecting your skintone
Real Breasts breast forms are designed to feel natural, look realistic, and blend smoothly with your body. By carefully making your selection from the color chart, it will help ensure that you have the right 'skin tone' color for your body. If you are unsure of which skintone to choose, The Breast Form Store strongly recommends making use of the skintone sample kit.
Blending
Full instructions are included with your Real Breasts breast forms to help blend the edges of the breast forms with your body for the most natural and near invisible appearance. Practice and experimentation with colors and cosmetics may be needed to obtain this result.
Adhesive surface
The adhesive surface of the breast forms is designed to last for an extended period and multiple uses. This will vary from user to user, depending on use and care of the breast forms and the use of additional adhesives.
Additional adhesive methods
Included with your Real Breasts breast forms is a complimentary care kit containing adhesives to adhere the edges of the breast forms to your skin, along with solvents to remove said adhesives. These products are skin-safe and designed for medical use, however some users may have a reaction to them. Should this happen, discontinue use of adhesives immediately and contact The Breast Form Store to find a suitable replacement adhesive.
Handling the form
Like natural breast tissue, Real Breasts are very delicate and susceptible to damage. Handle your Real Breast breast forms with very gentle, feminine handling to ensure the lifetime of your forms. Pay extra attention to the flexible edge and nipple area of the breast form.
Are Real Breasts difficult to put on?
The manufacturer recommends the following instructions:
The backside of each breast is tacky, so you may first place each breast and be
sure that they are evenly positioned. Once you have achived proper placement,
apply the medical adhesives to the thin encapsulator flange in 2"- 3" sections at
a time. Pull the edge out, and firmly press to the skin.
By keeping the edges tight, the transition between the breast and your skin
will be less noticable, and wrinkles will be avoided.
How long can I wear my Real Breasts?
Real Breasts can be used many times with careful removal and cleaning between uses. Pull each breast form off slowly to avoid tearing the thin encapsulator outer skin, and use the medical solvents provided to aid in removal and cleaning. Also, be sure to store your Real Breasts on the form it was shipped with to avoid warping or distortion in between uses.
*"Virtually invisible edge" is dependant on correct skin
tone ordered, application method used, and use of make-up.
Results will vary from user to user. For best results,
